Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce that Dunham Shoe Factory will perform as a part of this month's "P.M. Sundays" series on Jan. 12. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. and will take place at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. Doors are at 3:30 p.m.

Dunham Shoe Factory is a collaboration between Anna Patton, Mac Ritchey, Todd Roach and Dave Haughey. They are a contemporary acoustic ensemble playing original compositions influenced by world traditions. Combining the clarinet, oud, percussion and cello, their music draws from an array of styles including Egyptian, Jazz, Brazilian, Turkish, Classical and Indian music.

Currently based in New England, individual members have performed in a variety of settings locally, nationally and internationally over the past 25 years. The group has created a unique sound by weaving together the threads of common experience that exist between the players.

Two of them hold masters degrees in music performance, two of them have studied traditional Arabic and Turkish music, two of them have performed with the Paul Winter Consort, and all of them have spent time improvising in a variety of settings.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $23 day of show. Seniors (65+) and children 16 and under are $15. For more information or to buy advance tickets please contact Don Sheldon at don@valleystage.net or by calling 802-434-4563, or visit https://www.valleystage.net/dunham-shoe-factory-1-12-20/
