On Tuesday and Wednesday evening, January 7th and 8th, from 7 pm to 10 pm each night at Stowe High School, there will be a complete set of preparation sessions for the Math portion of the SAT college entrance exam. Provided FREE by Ace Math SAT of Morrisville, the sessions will include an entire practice exam, followed by an extensive discussion of the questions included. Students will have an opportunity to learn exactly the best way to answer each question, as well as participate in a discussion of how all questions are structured and thus how to quickly and accurately answer any question they may encounter.

These classes are open to all and do not require registration, but the practice tests will begin promptly at 7 pm, so punctuality is encouraged. Since there are two sections to the SAT Math portion, one will be administered each evening, and then that test will be discussed. One need not attend both sessions, but since they cover different areas of the exam, attending both would be most beneficial to the student.

The classes will be moderated by Theodore Casparian of Ace Math SAT. Ace Math SAT is a mathematics tutoring service based in Morrisville and operating since 1992. Mr. Casparian is a licensed VT Teacher of Mathematics, a graduate of the Cornell University Department of Mathematics, and has been teaching and tutoring for more than twenty-five years. Recent local students of his have increased their SAT Math scores by 80 to 100 points.
