The Young Tradition Touring Group Concert will feature traditional music and dance and will be held on Saturday, Jan 4, 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Barre Opera House. The 25 member Young Traditions Touring Group that that will be touring Japan in April of 2020 will be featured. The concert will include artist leaders Oliver Scanlon and Romy Munkres. An opening set will also feature special guest performers, and former artist leaders for the group, Pete Sutherland and Jeremiah McLane.
The group is managed by Mark Sustic, founder and executive director of Young Tradition Vermont. Repertoire is 'traditional', and is coordinated by artist leaders Oliver Scanlon and Romy Munkres.
