What's Happening with Immigration in Vermont?

Come hear Erin Jacobsen, lead staff attorney at the VT Immigration and Asylum Advocates in Burlington which provides free legal representation to low-income immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Professor Jacobsen will address: the current situation of immigration in Vermont, the laws and regulations governing the immigration system, the differences between the legal statuses of migrant, immigrants, refugee, asylum seeker and undocumented worker, how a person's status affects his or her legal rights and how concerned individuals can be of assistance.
