"The Western Star" is a solo storytelling performance in poetry and song that evokes a meditative, liminal atmosphere through the rhythms of language and flickering candlelight. The poem is a celebration of light in darkness, the turning of the seasons, and the every-renewing hope of Ephiphany. Join St. James Episcopal Church in making the journey of the Three Kings an unforgettably moving community tradition. "The Western Star" will be performed by Jack DesBois, a Middlebury, VT-based actor, singer and poet. This event is free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.
