Teen Art Studio at Helen Day Art Center is a free twice-a-month offering where teens make art, chat with professional artists, dream up ideas, and enjoy an evening of creative fun using Art Center-provided art materials and studio space. Guest artists will visit the Teen Art Studio to share about their lives as artists and help teens get inspired about their own work and artistic goals.
This coming week, on Tuesday, April 8th, we welcome painter Amber DeVoss into the studio to give aspiring artists a glimpse into her life as a maker of truly amazing art. Amber's colorful, abstract pieces are infused with a delicate fluidity combined with dynamic energy. Participants will enjoy learning about Amber's inspiration and background while getting an in-depth look into her artistic style and process.
Teen Art Studio runs from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and is free!
Any middle-schooler or high-schooler is welcome to join.
