Coffee, tea, juice, cookies and talk.
Thanks to Windham County Republican Party chair, Rick Morton, for suggesting this topic.
Please let me know if you would be interested in participating in a discussion about it at the meeting.
According to Wikipedia there a 3 ideas behind American Exceptionalism:
-First : The history of the United States is inherently different from that of other nations.
-Second : The US has a unique mission to transform the world.
-Third:  The United States' history and mission give it a superiority over other nations.
What is your take? Is American Exceptionalism a good thing? Or, is it getting us in trouble?
You are welcome to prepare a statement to make at the meeting. Followed by a discussion. Refreshments.
Please RSVP.

RULES OF THE MEETING
TALK ABOUT OUR DEMOCRACY
Democracy is all of us.
We want to hear what you have to say.
Thank you for attending this meeting where we are learning to take part in "civil discourse":
to listen to and understand each other and to treat each other with respect.
• We are here to understand each other. We are not here to straighten each other out
• All people are welcome
• All points of view are welcome
• Say what you have to say respectfully
• No lecturing or talking down to other people will be tolerated
• 2 minute limit speaking time
• All who wish to speak on a subject may speak before the person who brought up the subject may speak again.
Let's Talk!
