Free Writing Circle at Moore Free Library

Past event
Dec 29, 2019, 1 to 4 PM

THIRD ANNUAL WRITING TO THE LIGHT WRITING CIRCLE TO BENEFIT MOORE FREE LIBRARY facilitated by Deborah Lee Luskin.

What it is: A writing circle is an opportunity to practice automatic writing in the company of others. In timed writing exercises designed to prime the creative pump, writers focus and words fly in a rush of discovery.

How it works: I provide guidance and prompts for automatic writing; together, we will create a safe space those who wish to read their new words.

You bring whatever it is you like to write with: pen and paper, tablet, laptop, blood, and a willingness to write faster than your inner critic can read.

Everyone is welcome. No prior writing experience necessary.

Please arrive at the Moore Free Library on Sunday, December 29 by 1 pm.

The library is located at 23 West Street in Newfane.

The writing circle is free; donations to the Moore Free Library are gladly accepted.
