The annual Christmas candle light service of lessons and carols will be held Sunday, December 22 at 4:00 PM at Marlboro Meeting House. Pastor Michael Mario will lead the program that will include lay readers recalling the story of Jesus from the Bible. There will be music by Jim Levinson on organ. Christmas carols and other music will be sung and played during the program, and we are pleased that Woody Bernhard will share his "Carpenter's Song" again. Toward the end will come the hushed singing of Silent Night as the lamps go out and the candles light the darkness. The service includes moments of meditative reflection, joy, wonder, and awe as we recall the birth of Jesus. All are welcome to join us for the celebration of Christmas. A chair lift is available to the second floor. There will be refreshments and fellowship after the program on the first floor in the Community Center. An offering will be taken and all proceeds benefit Heifer International and the Women's Freedom Center.
