Calling all wearers of footed pajamas! Our next Castleton Free Library fireside event - "Stories for Christmas and Winter" - will take place on Wednesday, December 18th at 6:30 pm. (snow date the following night). The stories, representing several traditions, actually have been chosen to appeal to all ages (older listeners, including adults, may wear street clothes). Included will be a celebration of the coming solstice with candlelight, and some quick crafting options using greens and other natural materials. We'll have small gift books for all children in attendance. The program is free and open to all; we expect it to last about an hour.
Please call the library at 468-5574 or email if you have any questions. And please follow us on Facebook & Instagram - new photos will be up soon!
