The SCA is an international non-profit educational organization, dedicated to the preservation, research and recreation of the crafts, arts, and experiences of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
Unlike a Renaissance Faire, the SCA is participatory – no-one is simply a spectator. All the attendees play a part in creating the atmosphere by recreating whatever aspects of the Middle Ages and Renaissance interest them the most.
At SCA events you are expected to where garb (clothing) that looks suitable to the medieval time period (pre-17th century). If you do not have any suitable garb, there will be loaner garb available. If you will need to use the loaner garb, please email chatelaine@panthervale.eastkingdom.org.
