On Sunday Dec. 15 at 4:00 p.m., Hannah Brown, Stephen Brown, Rob Griffin, Michael Read and Lotta Suter present "Come Dance with Me", a concert of music and poems from many cultures in celebration of the season. The concert will be at the First Congregational Church of Berlin, 1808 Scott Hill Road, Berlin VT. It will be followed by a reception in the parish hall. The concert is free and open to all. Donations will be collected on behalf of Capstone Community Action, which provides meals and other services for those in need in our community. The music in the concert includes both familiar carols, to which the audience is invited to sing along, and lesser known works including Spanish carols, a dance for the winter solstice and "Weihnachtsmusik" by Arnold Schoenberg. The poems are inspired by the works of the Persian mystic poet Hafiz.
