After the winter we just had, more people are thinking seriously about making their homes energy efficient. Now is the time! Richmond Climate Action Committee is sponsoring a program in Richmond Free Library's Community Room, April 16th, 7 pm, about net zero energy homes.

Li Ling Young, of Efficiency Vermont, will give a presentation on how a home becomes a zero energy home, what the likely costs are, and financing options. She explains that a net zero home is one that generates as much renewable energy as it uses. Existing homes can become zero energy homes with recent innovations in heating systems and cost-competitive renewable energy options. Please join us for this program!
