"O Come, O Come Emmanuel". On Sunday, December 15th, "O Antiphons of Advent" will be presented and explained at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 3:00 p.m. The Antiphons accompany the Magnificat canticle of Evening Prayer from December 17th - 23rd. The theology uses ancient biblical imagery of the Old Testament to proclaim the coming of Christ from the past and into the present. The favorite hymn, "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is a summary of the Antiphons. All are welcome.
