The Brain Injury Association of Vermont (BIAVT) strives to create a better future for people affected by brain injury using the tools of Prevention, Education, Advocacy, and Support.

We are excited to invite the public to attend a 'Brain Injury Basics for Caregivers' educational training, which will be held this Thursday, December 12th, from 1-4 pm in the SAL Room of the Waterbury Library. At this event: UVM Human Functioning and Rehabilitation Science doctoral candidate Emma Rose Horowitz-McCadden will be speaking on the topic 'The Basics of Brain Injury,' and Barb Asen, Family Caregiver Support Director at Central VT Council on Aging, will contribute some of her specialized training tools for supporting brain injury caregivers' important needs.

This brain injury community education event is open to the public, but please note that attendees must first register on our website, and there are additional fees to attend. Visit our classy weblink to sign up and learn more!
