Ready or not the holiday season has arrived! Are you still looking for that very special gift for that very special someone? The Worthen Library is having its 2nd annual Holiday Basket Raffle celebration on Tuesday, December 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at our local and lovely Snow Farm Vineyard. We need your support to help make it a success! If you haven't had a chance to see the many beautiful and creative baskets stop by the Worthen Library for a look at the 30+ baskets donated by local vendors, friends and organizations. It is not too late to get raffle tickets which are $1 each or 6 for $5; they can be purchased at the library or at the event at Snow Farm. Even though you don't need to be present to win, please come to chat with friends, enjoy the wine and celebrate some holiday cheer. There will be a wide assortment of complimentary hors d'oeuvres and snacks provided by the Friends of the Library. All proceeds will be used to purchase additional children's books for our new library. So if you haven't completed your holiday shopping yet, or just need to treat yourself, we hope you will consider supporting our local businesses and the Worthen Library on Tuesday night!
