Dec 8, 2019, 10 to 11 AM

In preparation for Rumi's Urs on Dec. 17th, we'll gather to hear his poetry, sing or chant and listen to stories about his inspiring and challenging life. Rumi was a 13th century Sufi poet and mystic. He grew up and lived in a time of turmoil and his insights speak so clearly to our time. Join us for a celebration of Rumi. You're invited to bring your favorite Rumi poem to share if You'd like.

Reminder: December 8th at 4 pm, we'll hold a "Rumi Night" celebration with poetry, live music and the Dances of Universal Peace, followed by light refreshments. No charge (donations accepted). All Welcome!
Held at the Meetinghouse, 21 Fairground Rd, Springfield.
