Kick off the Traditional Christmas Weekend with Sarah Dillard, local Children's Book Author and Illustrator on December 6, 2019 at 3:30pm. Learn more about how Sarah writes and illustrates and join us for an interactive drawing session.
Sarah is the author-illustrator of the critically-acclaimed young graphic reader, "Extraordinary Warren and its sequel, Extraordinary Warren Saves the Day", as well as the popular early chapter book series, "Mouse Scouts". Her latest picture book "I Wish it Would Snow!" was on the CBC Notable Social Studies Trade Books for Young People list for 2019. It's sequel I Don't Like Rain will be released in the spring of 2020.
Sarah's books will be for sale, before and after, on site from Bear Pond Books.
The Children's lantern parade and Tree lighting will follow at 4:30pm at Stowe Elementary School behind the Library.
