The Barre City Energy Committee and Barre City resident Fred Pond welcome you to tour Fred's energy efficient house for Efficiency Vermont's Button Up 2019 campaign! Fred has completed several projects on his older house: insulating and weather-tightening through local contractor Energy Smart; installing a hot water heat pump, installing a heat pump for space heating and cooling, and putting in solar panels. 

Come find out how much more comfortable an older Barre City home can be after weatherization, what technology is available, and how you can be more comfortable at home!
