Coming up Thursday morning on Goddard College Community Radio: A chance to ask questions of recycling experts and of a wood heating expert. Plus—it's fundraising week at the station, a great time to donate. www.WGDR.org

Vermont has banned food scraps from the landfill starting next year—what do we do with them then? And how is recycling going after the Chinese demand for materials collapsed? Questions like this will be part of a presentation at the Capital City Grange on Saturday at 5 pm (followed by a potluck and a contra dance) by staff from Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District. We'll get a preview from Cassandra Hemenway and Theron Lay-Sleeper.
