On Tuesday, December 17 at 6:30p.m., the Rockingham Library screens a film with David & Goliath dimensions. Imagine this: It's a bitter cold night in the city. All the warming shelters are full, so a group of homeless people decide to stage an "Occupy" sit-in at a very public building. Find out what happens in this drama set in one of the last bastions of democracy-in-action: your public library. Louise Luring from our local Warming Shelter will be available after the film for information and/or group discussion.
The Library is located at 65 Westminster St., Bellows Falls, VT and is accessible. For more information, go to rockinghamlibrary.org, call (802) 463-4270, email programming@rockinghamlibrary.org or stop by the Library.
