This year's State Xmas Tree is an incredibly beautiful 40-foot balsam that was donated by Nancy Hill who lives on the County Road in Calais! State House Grounds Supervisor Ira Moser-- also of Calais-- noticed how beautiful the tree was, and asked Nancy to consider offering it to stand in front of the State House throughout the holiday season. PLEASE JOIN Governor Phil Scott and others at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 this Thursday as we ring in the holiday season, honor our fellow Calaisians, and enjoy hot cider and cookies at the Vermont History Museum immediately following!
