After a post on the Monkton Facebook page this weekend we decided to meet in person to discuss the ecosystem of Monkton Pond. The high water resulting from the rain, compromised beaver dam, culvert flow and the milfoil weed are topics up for discussion. We will be meeting at the Monkton Methodist Church at 7:00 PM this Thursday Dec 5th. Please feel free to join us as we discuss ways to relaunch the Cedar Lake Association as well as to try to solve the issue of the rising water before Spring and tackle the milfoil this summer if we can.
