Hello Ward! There will be much going on at our December 11,2019 NPA meeting at UVM Medical Center's McClure Lobby Conference Room from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm (food at 6:45!).

First, we will be seeking representatives for a couple key advisory committees: Nicole Losch writes, "As many of you know, we have been working with the neighborhood for improvements along Colchester Avenue. Our next project is scoping for safety and mobility along the corridor, with a particular focus on the East Avenue intersection, bike accommodations, and parking options. We'd like to invite Ward 1 to appoint one representative and one alternate to participate on the Advisory Committee for this study". If this interests you, you may also want to plan to attend the public forum kickoff to be held December 4, 6:30-8:30 in the UVM MC McClure Lobby Conference Room. Both Wards 1 and 8 will also be appointing representatives to the CDBG Advisory Committee ( https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/CEDO/CDBG-Overview ) in January, and we will be soliciting interest at the December meeting. We will also briefly continue the conversation about the Ward budgets.

7:25 UVM Housing Study - Tom Hier/Lisa Kingsbury - Focus will be on housing for juniors, seniors, & med/grad students.

7:55 Vermont State Legislators - Brian Cina, Barbara Rachelson - Our legislators want to hear our priorities for legislation for the 2020 session. Selene Colburn and Chris Pearson were unable to attend but will come in January.

8:15 East Avenue Safety and Sidewalk Update - DPW Staff - Plans for sidewalk improvements focusing on added segments; Followup on East Ave safety.

8:35 City Councilors reports (including parking ordinance update) - Sharon Bushor, Jack Hanson, Adam Roof
