Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce that the Ethan Setiawan Band will perform as a part of this month's "P.M. Sundays" series on Dec. 15. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. and will take place at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.

Ethan Setiawan is a Boston-based mandolin player who won such accolades as the National Mandolin Championship and the RockyGrass Mandolin Championship. He's a member of bands Corner House, Mudskippers, The Harmolodic String Band, and freelances with musicians including Darol Anger and Tony Trischka.

A move to Boston in August of 2015 to attend Berklee College of Music on a full ride scholarship brought about a new chapter in Ethan's life. He's been a catalyst for several projects in the Boston area and elsewhere. For this concert he will be accompanied by Julian Pinelli on fiddle, Sam Leslie on guitar and Dan Klingsburg on bass.
