Support Twin Valley Senior Center
EAST MONPELIER, VT (November 26, 2019) – Support the Twin Valley Senior Center on GivingTuesday, December 3. While GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving across the U.S. and in other countries, it is a movement to encourage people to help in their local communities.
GivingTuesday on December 3 is opportunity for people to make donations to the Twin Valley Senior Center, located in the Blueberry Hill Commons at 4583 U.S. Route 2 in East Montpelier. Twin Valley Senior Center, a non-profit organization, needs financial support for its many year-round programs and services.
Twin Valley Senior Center is the activity, educational and social hub for senior age people in central Vermont. Twin Valley Senior Center serves residents from East Montpelier, Plainfield, Marshfield, Calais, Woodbury, Cabot and other nearby towns. The center serves 1,000 meals a month, both through Meals on Wheels and on site. Activities range from Bone Builders fitness, Tai Chi, yoga, art classes, and card games to foot clinics, blood pressure readings and other health services, plus free tax service.
