The Tunbridge Conservation Commission and the Town Forest Committee are excited to announce a friendly competition to get out exploring this winter. Join us December 8, 11:15 am at the library to kick-off The Tunbridge Big Trees Contest.

Entries will be accepted from December 8, 2019 through February 14, 2020. To enter, pick up an entry form at the library and report the circumference, in inches, of the tree(s) at 4.5' high. Prizes (prizes!!!!) to be awarded at Town Meeting.

We'll introduce you to the Vermont Big Trees List, demonstrate tree measuring techniques, and we'll even have some tree themed snacks!
