On Wednesday April 9 at 12 Noon the GFWC Castleton Woman's Club meeting will be held at the Castleton State College Medical Chapel and will begin with a light lunch, followed at 12:30 by a business meeting. At 1:00 a "Gems and Jewels" program will feature Ron Marcus of Freeman Marcus Jewelers in Rutland who will offer expertise in identifying and determining the value of jewelry brought for review by attendees. Mr. Marcus is a Graduate Gemologist with GIA and a Certified Gemologist with the American Gemology Society. He specializes in antique and estate jewelry, appraisals, and restoration of jewelry. This program is a mini-fund raiser for the Castleton Woman's Club Community Service Projects. Items brought for evaluation are $5 per item or 3 items for $10 with a maximum per person of 6 items.
