Christmas music will fill the air at East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church on Friday, December 13, 7pm. Finding Hope in Darkness: A Christmas Concert and Hymn Sing will be presented by the congregation's choir, expanded with singers and instrumentalists, conducted by Cara Hill. The program includes traditional carols like O Come All Ye Faithful and The Holly and the Ivy as well as contemporary music. Local children's author, Natalie Kinsey Warnock, will read one of her stories. Poetry, scripture and other inspirations will also be read. The whole community is invited to lift their voices in song and celebration as we ponder the mystery of light penetrating the darkness and bringing hope to everyone. Refreshments will follow the concert. Admission is by donation. Monies and canned goods received will be contributed to the Hardwick Area Food Pantry.
