The Town of Randolph received $346,326 from the State of Vermont for grant number 07110-16-2016-Randolph-00015 under the Vermont Community Development Program.
A final public hearing will be held at Randolph Town Hall, 7 Summer Street, Conference Room B, Randolph, VT, 05060 on 12/12/19 at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain the views of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the range of community development activities that have been undertaken under this program, the impact to any historic and archaeological resources that may be affected by the proposed project, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to examine a statement of the use of these funds.
The Clara Martin Center has used these funds to redevelop the building at 28 South Main Street in Randolph to provide four units of housing targeted for individuals who are homeless and have a mental illness, and whom will be able to receive the services and case management supports of the Clara Martin Center. The rehabbed building also contains a Clara Martin office and a program space for Clara Martin Center staff and clients, as well as for larger group offerings or community meetings.
