Festival of Trees is right around the corner! The Tree Lighting and Fireworks will take place in Taylor Park on Saturday, Nov. 30. Start your holiday off right with this free community event.
We'll start with the Franklin County Animal Rescue pet memorial and prayer at 4:45 p.m.
At 5 p.m., the city's Christmas tree and downtown decorations will light up, and we'll have Christmas caroling to music provided by St. Albans's own radio station, WRSA_1420_100.3. Santa will arrive a few minutes later on a fire truck! We'll have a bonfire (courtesy of St. Albans Fire Dept). Saint Albans Community Arts and the Festival of Trees committee will serve our traditional free cider and cookies. This year, much of our cider comes from St Albans City School and was pressed by the kindergarten students!
One of our sponsors, Taco Truck All Stars, will be selling hot food and cocoa from their food truck on Church Street.
We'll finish with a spectacular fireworks display starting at 6pm, thanks to the generosity of the City of Saint Albans.
