In the Spring of 2013 Addison resident Peter Mcfarlane set out on a month long adventure, to paddle solo the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, from Old Forge, New York to Fort Kent, Maine. He paddled a self-made wooden canoe.

On Friday April 11th at 7 pm at the Salisbury Public library he will present a slide show and discussion around the planning, the hardships, and the euphoria of this trip, as well as the day to day decisions and progress of his epic journey. There will be time, at the end, for questions and answers.
