Planning for Shelburne's future growth and economic development will be the topics for three interesting speakers at the meeting of Shelburne Business and Professional Association rescheduled (due to the big snowstorm) from Nov. 11 to Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. in the Pierson Library Community Livingroom.
Selectboard Vice-Chair Jaime Heins will report on the lively conversations about economic development at a recent public panel discussion.
Library Director Kevin Unrath will explore the role of the new library as a community meeting place, and Samantha Jackman of Vermont Teddy Bear will report on representing SBPA at the International Trade and Travel Show in Montreal recently. And there will be exciting news about the activities of SBPA in support of the business community.
