No Easy Mile - Documentary Screening

Past event
Nov 22, 2019, 6:30 to 7:30 PM

Join us at Farrell Chiropractic Center for a screening of "No Easy Mile", an inspired documentary dealing with opioid addiction in the great state of Vermont.

Phil LaCroix, an auto mechanic, ultra-runner and West Bolton resident, lost seven friends to opioid addiction in Vermont over the course of 3 years. Grief stricken but determined to act, he launched "Enough Is Enough." His goal: run all 273 miles of the Long Trail in ten days or less and raise $50,000 for sober housing in Vermont.

This short film follows Phil through every peak and valley of his journey, using his experience as a platform to talk about Vermont's ongoing addiction crisis. The cast includes family members of those lost, addiction experts, thriving recoverees, and other inspired members of the community.
