Have you always wanted to take a dance class in NYC? If so, come check out a class with professional dancer/teacher/choreographer from NYC, Charlene “Chi Chi” Smith! Chi Chi is coming to Vermont to teach several master classes on Saturday, April 5th, at Studio 108 in Stowe (1056 Mountain Rd):

• Advanced Hip Hop (Ages 12-Adult), 1-2:30pm $25
• Intro to House Dance (Ages 12-Adult), 3-4:30pm $25
• Beginner Reggae Dancehall (Ages 16+), 5-6:00pm $15

Chi Chi has worked with and danced alongside some of the world’s top hip hop artists such as Mary J. Blige, P. Diddy, Salt n’ Pepa, LL Cool J, and Snoop Dog. In 2010, she toured internationally with Shakira as her dance team captain. She has been featured on MTV, BET and network TV as well as in commercials and in films such as “Brooklyn’s Finest,” “Old Dogs” and "Annie." Chi Chi teaches Hip-Hop, House and Dancehall classes in NYC, and at numerous dance studios across the state of New Jersey and also workshops in Vienna, Austria (Ladies of Hip-Hop Festival); Ontario, Canada (Outside Looking In), Santiago, Dominican Republic (guest choreographer for Ballet Clasico Santiago) and in Veracruz, Mexico (Escuela Cubana de Ballet de Veracruz). This summer, Chi Chi is making her Broadway debut in “Holler If You Hear Me” – a musical inspired by the music of Tupac. This is a not-for-profit event.
