REMINDER:
The Danville Woman's Club will host Bill April, local AARP Fraud Watch presenter, at 1 p.m. on November 20, 2019, at the Danville Historical Society building on Hill Street in Danville. Mr. April will focus on "Fraud, Scams, and Con Artists: Coming to a Computer Near You" and will include the why, how and basic defense regarding scams perpetrated over the internet. His presentation addresses how to recognize malicious e-mails and pop-ups as well as Wi-Fi issues arising from the increased use of tablets and smart phones.
