Rokeby Museum recruits new volunteers every year, so join us on Saturday, April 19 at 10 am to check out the opportunities. Volunteering at Rokeby offers a unique opportunity for personal education and service rolled into one. If you love working with people, art and antiques, history, reading other people’s mail, then you should join our corps of dedicated tour guides. New guides will complete a brief training course that introduces them to the remarkable Quaker family that called Rokeby home and the 200 years of history they lived here. Volunteers study historic photographs, documents, art, and artifacts from the Museum’s extensive collection and then share what they have learned with visitors, working two tour days per month.
