The OLLI lecture-type presentations are finished for this session, so now we will have three weeks of films, one each week on Wednesday, as usual. The theme of the films is the work of British novelist Graham Greene. Rick Winston, local historian and film guru, will introduce the films and lead a discussion afterwards. The first film will the ''The Third Man''(1949), a black and white film in which the harsh lighting, distorted camera technique and iconic theme music create a style that evokes the atmosphere of an exhausted, cynical post-war Vienna at the start of the Cold War. The film will be shown at the Savoy Theatre.
