Transition Town Jericho hosts a panel discussion:
"Climate Change Effects on Local Farming"
on Monday November 18 from 5:30 to 7pm at the Jericho Community Center.

Panelists include David Zuckerman of Full Moon Farm in Hinesburg and Lieutenant Governor; Bruce Hennessey of Maple Wind Farm in Richmond/Huntington; Alissa White, UVM researcher and farming advocate; John Hayden of the Farm Between in Cambridge and Tucker Andrews of Notch Farm in Bolton.

Questions addressed will be:
- How climate change and the associated extreme weather has impacted our farms.
- How our communities have supported farms in bouncing back
- What resources farmers would like to see to help them better address climate-related risks

Event is free and refreshments provided. Hosted by Transition Town Jericho, building community to build resiliency for whatever the future holds. More info: transitiontownjericho.net

Christa from Jericho Settlers Farm and Bruce from Maple Wind Farm have both said they will come, but won't be there in time to sit on the panel. Should be a great solutions-oriented conversation! Please join us!
