The annual COTS Phonathon gets under way Dec. 2-5 and Dec. 9-10, 5:30-9 p.m., and Dec. 11, 9 a.m.-noon at COTS' main office, located at 95 North Ave., Burlington.
Enthusiastic volunteers "dial for dollars," calling past COTS supporters to ask them to consider a year-end gift to COTS again this year. All money raised goes directly to support COTS shelters and services. We still need callers Dec. 4, Dec. 5, Dec. 9, and Dec. 10. For parents who want to volunteer with their children, we also need youngsters to help as "runners" during the event. Let us know if your children would like to help, too.
Through the generous support of local businesses, we provide dinner for volunteers each night:

-- Wednesday 12/4: Bluebird Barbecue
-- Thursday 12/5: Leonardo's Pizza
-- Monday 12/9: El Cotijo
