The VT Genealogy Library at Fort Ethan Allen is hosting a talk on using EVERNOTE, a digital notebook tool, to allow researchers of all types to quickly store, organize, sort and retrieve notes, documents, images & video on both personal devices and in the cloud for immediate access everywhere.
Have you collected lots of sources, document links, websites, birth, marriage and death records, newspaper clippings, photos, etc.? Can you find everything you know about a particular topic or ancestor? And is everything about your research organized in one place?
If your collection of records is not organized - then it's Evernote to the rescue. Patti and Dick Malone will show you how they have worked with Evernote to keep track of their research results so that information on any person, place, or event can be located in seconds.,
This talk begins at 10:30 AM tomorrow, lasts 75 minutes and will be followed by a Q&A. The fee is $15, it includes an 18 page handout and attendees can use the Library's 4500 books, 6 online databases and genealogical experts free for the entire day. For directions go to: www.vtgenlib.org/general/directions.php or call 802-350-1333.
