Learn About Rivers, Floodplains with Mike Kline

Past event
Nov 14, 2019, 6 to 7 PM

Join Lewis Creek Association tonight to learn about rivers, how and why we should protect floodplains and how to improve habitat for brook trout and other species. Mike Kline, recently retired head of VT Rivers Program with VT DEC, will talk tonight at Carpenter-Carse Library in Hinesburg from 6-7 PM. This will be followed by a field trip this Saturday afternoon with biologists to visit a site where we propose making improvements to fish and wildlife habitat along the river corridor. Hope you can join us!
