The Vermont Blues Society will be holding our first Annual Meeting/Blues Showcase at Arts Riot in Burlington this sunday. We are raising $ for our first ever entrants in The International Blues Showcase, held in January 2020 in Memphis, TN, sponsored by the Blues Foundation. Sunny Lowdown from Brattleboro will perform in the solo/duo category and The Nobby Reed Project from Swanton will be our contestant in the band slot. Last year, there were over 200 entrants from around the world, so help VT represent !! We will also have music from William Lee Ellis with Steve Feinbloom and an all star showcase to close it out including Paul Asbell, Chuck Eller, Dwight Richter, Clyde Stats, Al Moore, Dennis Willmott, Jess Leone and Mr. Charlie. There will be a silent auction too, with prizes from The Old Foundry, Advance Music, The North Hero House, Twiggs, Trapp's Brewing, El Toro, The Blue Paddle Bistro and much more. Support local music !
