The Southern Adirondack Community Task Force presents:

NY Prevention Coalition Training for community leaders and potential leaders (as part of the Federal Drug Free Communities Program - establish 1997)

The three-hour training is conducted by Megan Walradth, Coordinator of the Central Region Prevention Resource Center, Syracuse, NY, funded by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).

Training outcomes: How to build a community coalition to impact youth substance abuse.
Participants will learn the steps of the Strategic Prevention Framework and the benefits of using this model for prevention work. The training will be hands-on and full of activities to apply this knowledge to your community.

After the training there will be pizza & wings for those who have time to meet and organize coalition committees with other sector leaders in our community.
