Past event
Nov 19, 2019, 1 to 2:30 PM

On Tuesday, November 19 at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Manchester Community Library will screen a 2019 award-winning documentary about a young couple who trade city living for 200 acres of barren farmland and a dream to harvest in harmony with nature. Featuring breathtaking cinematography of this biggest little farm, captivating animals, and the life and death rhythms of farming, the film ultimately provides a vital blueprint for better living and a healthier planet. "The film is most fascinating as an account of people who made a dream come true, then realized that keeping it alive is hard, often heartbreaking work." Roger Ebert

The Library is offering the afternoon and evening showings to the community to help fill the loss of our local movie theater. The screenings are free and open to the public. The film is rated PG and running time is 90 minutes. Manchester Community Library is located at 138 Cemetery Avenue in Manchester Center, VT. For more information and the title of the film, call: 802-362-2607 or visit our website, www.mclvt.org. We're showing this film as part of Agriculture Literacy Week.
