Join the Bennington Area Makers (BAM) to make holiday lanterns from tin cans and LED votives. These will line the path to the Veterans Home as a festive addition to the annual tree lighting ceremony on December 4.

We will use reclaimed tin cans to create decorative patterns using hammers and nails. LED votives will be put inside and the punched hole designs will light the driveway to the tree at the Veterans Home. While materials will be provided, participants are encouraged to bring hammers to the workshops.

This is a fun and easy project for makers of all ages. We do ask that children be age 5 or above and that anyone under 16 be accompanied by an adult.
