On Monday November 11, 2019 at 11 AM there will be a Veteran's Day ceremony at the Shelburne Veterans' Monument. Col. Bud Ockert has put together a wonderful 30 minute program which will include commemorating the two new WWI and WWII granite markers. One marker is engraved with names of veterans from WWI and the second marker is engraved with WWII veteran's names. Shelburne's Poet Laureate Rick Bessette will be on hand to read an original poem. Special thanks to Eric Hanley for coordinating the stone engraving and Colleen Haag for her vision and financial tracking skills.
