BHS Drama and the BHS Music Department present "Urinetown" on Nov. 21-23, 2019, at Burlington High School.
"Urinetown: The Musical" is a satirical comedy musical that premiered in 2001, with music by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and book by Kotis. It satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, bureaucracy, corporate mismanagement, and municipal politics.
Tickets are on sale now for three performances at the Burlington High School Auditorium, 52 Institute Road, Burlington. (Parking is free.) Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show at 7 p.m., for the three performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Nov. 21-23).
General admission ticket prices for these shows cost $5 for students and seniors; $10 for adults. (Special "Best Seat in the House/Early Admission" tickets with swag bag are available for $25 each.)
All tickets can be purchased from any BHS cast member, at the BHS Main office during school hours, or at the door prior to each performance. Reservations also are accepted via email (with payment due at the door); email BHSVTDrama@gmail.com to reserve your ticket.
