The League of Women Voters, in partnership with Kellogg-Hubbard Library, is pleased to present the second in its 2019-20 Speaker Series on "Criminal Justice in Vermont."
On Wednesday, November 13, our panelists will discuss health care in prisons in Vermont including opiate addition, aging, disability, and access to care. Panelists are:
▪ Emily Tredeau, supervising attorney at the Prisoners' Rights Office of the Defender General
▪ Dr. Delores Burroughs-Biron, former health director of Vermont's Department of Corrections
▪ Judy Henkin, Deputy Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Corrections
▪ Tina Hagen, senior investigator and Ed Paquin, Executive Director, of Disability Rights Vermont
The panel will be moderated by Susan Clark, co-author of All Those in Favor and Slow Democracy, and town moderator for Middlesex.
