WHAT: "As part of the national Week of the Young Child celebrated across the country, we are honoring young children and all those who make a difference in children’s lives.

All young children need and deserve high-quality early learning experiences that will prepare them for life, and Middlebury has a great opportunity to do our part to help young children. To celebrate the Week of the Young Child, we are working with Ilsley Public Library and the Otter Creek Child Center to put together a community Recycled Art Day. The event will be on Friday, April 11th from 4:30 – 6:00 in the Community Meeting Room at Ilsley Public Library. We aim to show children the value of reuse in a fun, engaging way, and help children and parents in the community connect. Anyone is welcome! If possible, please bring recycled materials from your home to use in the artwork. Basic art supplies (paper, glue, colored pencils, markers) will be supplied!"
